Let's go Crazy for Prince: Purple Rain album review

Artist: Prince and the revolution
Album: Purple Rain
Genre: Rock, Pop music, Funk, Rhythm and blues, Soul music, Pop rock, Contemporary R&B, new wave, Hard rock, synth-pop, Funk rock, psychedelic rock, neo-psychedelia, Minneapolis sound
Relased: June 25th 1984

First impressions:
A very fun album to listen to with Princes Vocal range and funky beats. It has almost a 70s vibe despite being released in the 80s.
Favorite song:
Darling Nikki
This song stirred up some controversy and started the whole Parental advisory stickers. However the interesting story of a lady trying to seduce a man and hearing all of this happen from thier perspective
Overall score: 9/10
As a native minnesotan, I am biased towards liking prince but thus album is funky in a good way. A nice mix of 70s and 80s vibes and hearing Prince sing is pretty awesome. DEFINITELY WILL LISTEN TO AGAIN and will watch the movie sometime.
